Family Trip to OC

Mouse Trip

See all my favorite things at the parks.

Baymax Sourdough Bread at San Fransokyo

I bought this Baymax-shaped sourdough bread at the San Fransokyo Square at Disneyland Park in Anaheim. It is so cute! I ate part of it and brought the rest home to eat for breakfast the next day.

Baymax Sourdough Bread at Disneyland
We stayed at Disneyland Hotel and Microwave is not in our room but can be found at lobby level

It was very pricey when we stayed at the Disneyland Hotel but it's so close to the Disneyland Park that we felt it was so worth it. We stayed in a standard room so it had no in-room microwave. We were on the 9th floor. However, I found the microwave next to the vending machine in the lobby level (L). So, I just had to take the elevator down to find it. Every floor has a vending machine or ice area but only the lobby level has the microwave! Just go down to ground floor, aka (Lobby level). You can view a quick clip of the microwave at the Disneyland Hotel that I found at Adventure Tower and also a bit of our Disneyland Hotel stay on my instagram reel: https://www.instagram.com/p/Da9GWLEiZi0/

My SON loved the BDX Droids Dancing

One of our favorite areas was the STAR WARS: Galaxy's Edge! If you're a STAR WARS fan, get ready to be so, so excited to see how they built all of this. My 10 year loved watching the BDX droids. See the BDX Droids dancing in this video below that my 10 year old took from my phone.

We went on the 'It's a Small world Ride'. it got better!

Wow! I was so amazed by all the changes and improvements to the "It's a Small World" ride when we got in line and rode on the ride. The faces of all the dolls are bigger and much more easier on the eyes. It is less creepy for the little ones! See our video below to see while we waited and rode on the 'It's a Small World' ride.

Family Trip to Orange County

The amazing thing about the location of Disneyland is that we were able to go to Little Saigon that is located only 25 minutes drive away from the Disneyland Park. You can get your pho and shopping fix at the famous and iconic Phuoc Loc Tho, Asian Garden Mall. I even saw that a stall was selling mouse ears! They were all very friendly there! There were so many stalls and shops there. See a video of my Mi Hoanh Thanh (wonton soup) for only $7.99 at Phuoc Loc Tho/Asian Garden Mall.

Lorcana Release Cause More Long Lines at Disney Downtown District

While we were staying at Disneyland Hotel, I ordered from Starbucks on my mobile phone for breakfast and walked from the hotel to the Disney Downtown District to retrieve my order and saw there were much longer lines all around compared to the day before! It was only 8:30 AM. It turned out that in the morning of July 16, 2026, the Lorana had a new release of merchandise so many collectors camp and maybe even camped out early! See my video of my walk through the area to retrieve my Starbucks order in Disney Downtown District and the long lines!

We Loved the Beignets at Disney Downtown District at Tiana's Restaurant

We absolutely loved the beignets at Tiana's Palace located at Disney Downtown District! One order was enough to share between the four of us! It came hot and soft. See a video of our order of beignets from Tiana's Palace below.

All in all, our trip and stay at Disneyland Hotel and Disneyland Park and Disneyland California Adventure Park was so fun! It was great riding on the rides and walking around the different areas of Star Wars, Avengers, San Fransokyo, and more! We went to both parks within the same day! It was 9.53 miles of walking according to my pedometer on my watch!

One Dislike:

The only thing I didn't like at the park was my turkey leg that I bought at a stand next to Boudin Sourdough. It was way too salty for my taste! So, I suggest skipping that turkey leg and save your appetite and go to the Star Wars restaurant, Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo, instead.

A lot of the park rides lead you up at their stores as you leave the rides, and they were selling ears for over $30. I suggest buying your ears online before even arriving at the park for your whole family so that they don't feel left out and you don't get tempted to buy them at the parks. I say about 25 - 30% of visitors were wearing some sort of fan gear on their heads! Find different pattern mouse ears.
