Solvang Visit as a Family and Sideways Inn Stay

Posted by on Thursday, February 28, 2019, In : Santa Barbara
We visited Solvang, a fun one-of-a-kind Danish town in Santa Barbara County, California, this past weekend. It was bustling with tourists, visitors and dogs! (Note: All photos Pinterest photos below were taken by

It is impossible to walk around downtown Solvang and not get tempted to buy a pastry at one of the many Danish bakeries. The combination of the smell of the freshly baked goods, the perfection of a macaron and the sizes of the pastries definitely hit you becaus...

Grover Beach: Ride your car onto the beach or walk it!

Posted by on Monday, February 25, 2019, In : Beaches
On the Central Coast of California, in the county of San Luis Obispo, is a small beach called Grover Beach. It's part of the Pismo State Beach area but there is only one entrance in, through Grand Avenue. West Coast, at its finest, you can ride your vehicle onto the beach here if you drive right on through the toll (for a small fee; note that this vehicle entrance is temporary closed on Grand Ave for Grover Beach). A Day in San Simeon to visit Hearst Castle and Elephant Seals

Posted by on Wednesday, February 20, 2019, In : Hearst Castle

Located in San Luis Obispo County, San Simeon is what I call a slice of heaven. It is not densely populated, right by the coast, and full of amazing scenery.

The higher you climb, the more exciting you get as you get nearer. Once there, you get separated into different groups according to the t...

Posted by on Friday, February 15, 2019, In : Madonna Inn

Last night was my first time dining at Copper Cafe, inside of Madonna Inn. We pass by Madonna Inn often on the 101 highway and also wondered when we'll get a chance to visit there. What better occasion to dine at the restaurant there than on Valentine's Day, my husband thought.

Food is amazing! Service can be questionable with speed. The ambiance is perfect for special occasions! It's unique, warm and hearty. They also have the steakhouse called Goldrush Steak House with an amazing high cei...

Frustration with Ventana Health in Pismo Beach

Posted by on Thursday, February 14, 2019,
I'm so frustrated with Ventana Health in Pismo Beach and I haven't even been seen yet! I was supposed to have an appointment yesterday on Feb. 13th at 10:30AM. They called the day before to confirm my appointment and asked me to come 30 minutes early to fill out some paperwork, even though I had already told them that I had already mailed it back to their office. I arrived around 9:55AM with 2 little ones in tow and the receptionist told me, my "doctor" is out sick and that someone had called...
